A quickie and a hint

Hey all,
Sorry is has been so long between posts, but life keeps getting in the way. I have lots items that have  potential for great remakes, so I will try to get more done. In the interest of posting  something, here is a quickie involving a pair of denim crop pants(garage sale 50 cents) that hit me right above the ankle and made me look and feel dumpy. I had the fringe in from a bag of stuff that I got from mom.
Turn up the bottoms of pants the width of fringe and sew. I had exactly enough trim for both legs, none left over. I get lots of compliments and comments about these sassy capris.

My hint is not to be home alone when trying on clothes for remakes. Sometimes you might try something on that is a tad small and have trouble getting out of the item.  This happened to me this afternoon when trying on a 50 cent homemade plaid dress I bought mainly for the big red buttons. It was about a half size small and stuck to my shoulders when I tried to take it off! It would have made my hubby laugh hysterically if he came home from work to find me stuck in a piece of clothing!!!! Luckily I got out.

Closing for now. My plan is to take some "before" pictures of several projects to post and then write about the remakes. If I write it maybe it will happen. Hoping you will hold me accountable.

Sylvia
